Learn to fly (fish)

Those curious about saltwater fly fishing can join the Rhode Island Dept. of Environmental Management for an introduction to the craft. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service instructors will teach participants ages 10 and older the arts of fly-tying, knot-tying and casting techniques at Charlestown’s Kettle Pond Visitors Center. All materials and equipment will be provided for this hands-on class, participants just need to bring a lunch.
