By stephanie - June 15, 2015
It’s a case of dueling identities during Providence Performing Arts Center’s limited engagement of “Jekyll & Hyde.” Based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s novella, “The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,” the story follows a London doctor who accidentally unleashes his evil, alternate personality during a quest to cure his father’s mental illness. Tony-Award nominee Constantine Maroulis will play the dual role of Dr. Henry Jekyll and Edward Hyde, alongside Deborah Cox, a Grammy-Award nominee and R&B singer, who will play Lucy. When: Thursday, Jan. 3 and Friday, Jan. 4, 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Jan. 5, 2 and 8 p.m.; Sunday, Jan. 6, 1 and 6:30 p.m. Where: Providence Performing Arts Center, 220 Weybosset St., Providence Additional Information: Tickets: $41-$66. For more information or to purchase tickets, call (401) 421-2787, visit the website or stop by the box office. Website: www.ppacri.org
