Portsmouth is a town in Newport County, Rhode Island located on Aquidneck Island.The town is surrounded by smaller islands including Hog Island, Hope Island, Prudence Island and Patience Island.
Portsmouth has many historic sites including Glen Farm, which is home to the Newport International Polo Series. Visitors can view historic buildings in Basic, Simple Greek Revival and Early Victorian styles.
